Alzheimer Society of Calgary
We love 'em!
The Alzheimer Society of Calgary empowers local persons impacted by dementia to live life well and builds the capacity of the community to support and care for them.
Within 25 years Calgary will be home to over 26,000 people living with dementia. For each person diagnosed, another 10 to 12 people are directly affected, which includes friends, family members, coworkers and more. Alzheimer's disease and other dementias will be the most significant social and health crisis of the 21st century for our community.
Dementia impacts us all - it could be a spouse, parent or grandparent, sibling or someone you work with. The Alzheimer Society of Calgary is here to ensure that people with dementia, their families and care partners have access to high quality education, care and support across the dementia continuum in Calgary and area. We invite you to join us as a community builder and become an Agent of Change.
