The Paralympic Sports Association (PSA) is a non- profit, registered charity. For 50 years the PSA has been providing recreation and sport programs for persons with disability in Alberta.
The PSA offers sport and recreation programs for: children, youth, adults and seniors with physical and developmental disabilities. There is a program for everyone! Some programs are recreational in nature, providing physical activity, fun and social support to participants and others offer the opportunity for competition and advancement in sport.
The Paralympic Sports Association (PSA) is an organization dedicated to enhancing the social, physical and mental health of children and adults with a disability through adapted recreational and sporting activities.
To provide recreational and sporting opportunities for individuals with a disability across the province of Alberta. To develop long lasting partnerships with organizations and communities that will increase awareness, opportunities and the quality of life for persons and families living with disabilities.
The core values of the Paralympic Sports Association include:
